Libraries, archives, and other institutions are well known to contain historical information. Whilst a growing number of old books and historical texts are available on, there are still a vast number which have yet to be transcribed or digitised. In many cases, even though the documents themselves have yet to make it onto the World Wide Web, records of them may still be found in indexes which have been published online.
